Great Room (Multipurpose Room)
The Great Room features almost 2,500 square feet of meeting space with 15-foot ceilings and designed to be divided into three distinct function rooms - each measuring around 800 square feet. Each room is installed with its own LCD projector and screen, computer with Microsoft Office, DVD player, control (touchscreen) panel, and display cables for laptop connection. Wireless and handheld microphones are also available, and Wi-Fi is present throughout in the Great Room.
The space can be designed with round tables or a variety of other layouts. It is ideal for events including training, company retreats, luncheons, and more. The room also provides natural and customizable lighting options.
The Auditorium (Lecture Hall) has a seating capacity of 100. It features theatre-style seating facing the stage and a rear-screen projector. Technology in the auditorium includes an LCD projector and screen, and a podium with microphone and display cables for laptop connectivity. Both handheld and lavaliere microphones are available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire auditorium. Whiteboards are located in the front of the room for your display needs and videoconferencing is an option. Stage furniture settings/needs are customizable upon request.
The Tiered Classroom seats 50 in a multi-level environment of 1,140 square feet. This space features built-in videoconferencing capability and contains two LCD projectors and screens, a computer, Wi-Fi, DVD player, and document camera. The dual screens allow for two distinct media streams: attendees can view a PowerPoint presentation and website simultaneously. Electrical outlets are conveniently located on the desktop for easy access, and natural light streams through two windows.
The Executive Conference Room is the perfect space for important board meetings or smaller, more intimate groups. The room features 439 square feet of space set in a conference setting with oversize executive chairs. An LCD projector and screen, display cables and wireless projector connection, whiteboard and Wi-Fi, and other technologies including web and teleconferencing are available. Well-positioned windows provide natural light and 14 luxury leather office chairs make more a comfortable gathering.
Standard meeting rooms vary in size from about 800 to 1300 square feet and are available in a variety of configurations. The instructor podium includes a computer (connected to the local LCD), cabling to connect your laptop computer, and a DVD player and document camera. Wi-Fi is available anywhere in the building. Natural light is provided by windows near the ceiling but does not distract from your meeting. Rooms are available with either whiteboard or blackboard, and flip charts are available upon request.
The UCLC Conference Center features two separate computer labs with 16 and 24 networked computers connected to a common printer. The instructor podium includes a networked computer, LCD projector, cabling to connect a laptop, a DVD player and a document camera. Wi-Fi is available. Food and beverage not allowed in the computer labs.
Smaller conference rooms (breakout spaces) measuring about 250 square feet feature a conference table with six to eight chairs. The smaller conference rooms contain all of the technology found in the larger spaces - LCD projector and screen, cabling to connect a laptop, and a DVD player and document camera. This venue is ideal when your larger group needs to divide work assignments or for smaller, collaborative sessions. All rooms provide natural light. Web/video conferencing is available in the smaller conference rooms through portable Meeting Owl web cameras and carts.
