Join us for this hands-on professional development opportunity with Dr. Gabriel Alejandro Cortez, PhD, Director of ENLACE Leadership Institute and Professor of the Literacy, Leadership, & Development with the College of Education at Northeastern Illinois University.
His reserach interests have focused on grassoots activisim in education; intercultural relations, cultural identity, globalization and Chicago history. (NEIU faculty website)

Dr. Cortez shares that "Instructors, you have the power to make self and collective care a priority in your classes. Self care refers to taking care of yourself.
