Student Support

As a current student at University Center, you have access to all the resources and services that are offered by your university and University Center.  At University Center, students, no matter if taking classes online or in person, can take advantage of the many study spaces available throughout the building. You will find vending machines, reliable wifi, and a friendly receptionist to help answer any questions about the building.

At your university, you have access to key resources such as Financial Aid, Career Services, Academic Support, and many other student support services. Below you will find links to your specific university.

Reporting an Emergency 

House phones are located in each classroom and in the hallways in each wing on each floor.

In a medical emergency, you may dial 911 from any house phone. Please also alert the receptionist by dialing 4000. If it is a police emergency, dial 1111. 

 

DEFIBRILLATOR

There is an automated electronic defibrillator located on the second floor near the stairs before you reach the bathrooms.

Housing Security

The University Center is committed to providing support and resources for students experiencing homelessness. Suzanne Christensen, Administrative Services Manager, is the designated HOUSE Liaison, in accordance with the Illinois Public Act 102-0083.

Get Notifications

The University Center uses a direct notification system, OneCallNow, to alert University Center students and faculty of urgent updates. If there is a campus-wide update including weather related, you can be notified via our emergency notification system when you SIGN UP HERE.
