Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Web-Based Learning
This certificate offers students an opportunity to gain expertise in the areas of designing and developing web-based learning environments within corporations, non-profit organizations, healthcare, higher education, and K-12 education.
The curriculum for the certificate program consists of two smaller credentials: a Professional Development Sequence (PDS) in "Instructional Design" and a PDS in "Online Pedagogy." When, you finish the certificate, then, you will have earned a total of three credentials: two PDSs and the certificate.
2.50 or higher undergraduate GPA
No transfer credit is applicable to this certificate.
The student must successfully complete the required program of study, with at least a grade of B in each course.
The faculty members who teach the courses in this certificate program have practical experiences designing curriculum for middle schools and high schools. Faculty members also have experiences working in major corporations, like Anheuser-Busch, Time Warner Communications, and A. G. Edwards. Therefore, students receive practical knowledge and experiences that will equip them to deliver web-based learning interventions for the 21st Century.
