This program will help PK-12 teachers gain additional knowledge and skills in school improvement issues, enhancing teacher performance, and using data-driven decision making to improve student success.
Acceptance to UIS Graduate School as either degree-seeking or non-degree-seeking.
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 for full admission
Undergraduate GPA of 2.5/4.0 for conditional admission
Have all transcripts sent to UIS.

Coursework may be used as electives for the Master of Arts in Education degree
A passing grade in an EDL course is considered to be B or above. A failing grade is given for work below that level. A maximum of eight hours of C (2.0) grades is applicable to the degree (grades of C- or lower are not accepted), provided that a minimum GPA of 3.0 is reached at time of graduation and an approved Student Petition is on file in the Office of Records and Registration.
