Bachelor of Arts in Psychology - NEIU
This program prepares students for careers that make particular use of human behavior and development. These include human resource and personnel positions in industry, direct service work in the social services and research associate positions in academic and industrial settings.
Courses are offered face-to face in the evenings and/or Saturdays at the University Center Grayslake facility.
To meet transfer admission criteria, students must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher for all college or university course work attempted. Students must be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended.
Required documents are an application for admission, $30 nonrefundable application fee, and official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
A maximum of 90 semester hours may be transferred to NEIU (up to 64 credits from a community college).
Courses from colleges or universities must have been completed at the appropriate level to be eligible for transfer credit consideration.
Students with an AA degree from any regionally accredited community college, or those who have completed the IAI will have fulfilled Northeastern's general education requirements.
No more than two courses (6 credit hours) transferred from a community college may be applied to the major. These must be approved by the department.
