Outreach in Our Local Community

We hold events at various locations throughout the year. Most of these events are open to the public, although those held at worksites are usually open only to staff of that employer. See the “Audience” section of each entry to learn who is eligible to attend and then stop by to find out more about University Center or to speak with one of our staff members.
Taste of College
This is our first year as a “Taste of College” site. Visiting middle schoolers will learn about “The Power of Technology” as they see a video about technology, use computer labs to research careers matched to their interests, and communicate with remote classmates via our distance learning classrooms, all the while learning about how college can be a destination for them.
